The timing of Jesus' arrival is a powerful confirmation of His claims regarding who He is!

• The angel Gabriel appeared before the prophet Daniel and declared that there will be a command to restore Jerusalem, and that the promised Messiah would come 483 years after that command.
   
• The command to restore the physical, political, and religious society in Jerusalem came in 458 B.C.
   
• Exactly 483 years later, in 26 A.D., Jesus Christ is baptized, the spirit descends on Him "like a dove" and He begins His public ministry.
   
• And, who is this Jesus who comes forward at the exact moment in history when the Old Testament tells us the Messiah will come?
   
• He is Jesus Christ, the one and only man in human history who has fulfilled all the other prophesies which identify the first coming of the Jewish Messiah.
