We do not need to remain in depression if we keep worldly problems in perspective and remember what really matters: our salvation in Jesus Christ.

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)

Our soul waits for the LORD: He is our help and our shield. (Psalm 33:20)

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God: for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God. (Psalm 42:11)

The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. (Psalm 121:8)

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)
