To be the true Messiah requires wide acceptance by non-Jewish people

We find a hint of this requirement in God's statements to Abraham:

In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice. (Gen. 22:18)

The Jews were and still are God's special, chosen people. But, blessing was to come for all people.

The prophet Isaiah tells us that it would be "too small a thing" for the Messiah to come only for the Jews.

Indeed He says, 'It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.'" (Isa. 49:6)

When Messiah comes, he will be for the Jews. But, he will also be a "light to the Gentiles." non-Jewish people will accept Him also.

The Messiah would not only come for the non-Jewish people, but they would become God's people:

Then I will say to those who were not my people, "You are My people!" And, they shall say, "You are my God." (Hosea 2:23)

All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the LORD'S, and He rules over the nations. (Ps. 22:27-28)

Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. (Isa. 60:5)

Not just a few gentiles, an abundance of gentiles from all over the earth will come to the Messiah. This means world wide acceptance of the Jewish Messiah.

Who have the gentiles turned to as Messiah? Jesus Christ.

Only one man in history has ever been widely accepted by the gentile world as the Jewish Messiah. He is the same man who came at the time prophesied by Daniel and who fulfilled all other relevant prophecies.

He comes with significant credentials. His name is Jesus Christ.
