COVID-19 UPDATES & RESOURCES

Global

We believe in loving our neighbors no matter where they live, and we’ve seen God at work all over the world! Our commitment to the world includes praying, caring for, and financially supporting our missionaries and partners locally, nationally, and internationally. Our Global Missions ministry helps The Chapel fulfill the church’s purpose of making disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Peru

We are organizing our second trip to Atalaya and Bolognesi, Peru! The trip will tentatively take place May 15 - 23, 2020. The trip itinerary will include:

  • outreach to kids in the afternoons after school
  • leadership training for women
  • one youth event and youth involvement in construction
  • a two day trip for two team members to Bolognesi to encourage their pastor and plan for the next trip

The details will be added as soon as they are established. If you are interested in participating on a trip to Peru, please contact Susan Breitz  -  .

Colombia

The Chapel partners with International Cooperating Ministries (www.icm.org) to help strengthen under-resourced churches in and around the city of Bogotá, Colombia. Our role consists of two elements:

  • investing financially to help churches construct either their main worship center, or a “Hope Center” from which they can serve the children of their communities
  •  sending teams to encourage, support, and serve alongside our partner churches

In 2020 we are tentatively planning on sending two Chapel teams: one in late spring (tentatively the first week of June), and one in the fall (October/November). Trips normally run from a Saturday to a Friday. The details will be added as soon as they are established. If you are interested in participating on a trip to Colombia, please contact Pastor Dave  -  .
