Need Help or Want to Help?

Chapel Care Delivers
To help ease the anxiety surrounding this pandemic, we have volunteers who are willing to pick up and deliver groceries for those who need to stay within the safety of their home. If you or someone you know needs deliveries (is over 60 or has an impaired immune system), or if you’d like to volunteer, please e-mail   or call the Chapel office to learn more.

Face Masks for Medical Workers
Local hospitals like Chilton, Hackensack, Valley and others are in need of face masks and there are two ways you can help:

Are you a crafter or sewer? The Chapel is now partnering with Atlantic Health Systems and Jo-Ann Fabrics to help get masks to medical workers in our area who are battling on the front lines of this coronavirus epidemic.

How it Works: You can receive up to 2 FREE kits daily from Jo-Ann Fabrics, which include everything you need to make 10 masks. Simply pull up curbside to the Riverdale location and call the store at 973-835-1361. Then press ZERO for an assistant, and they will bring the FREE kits to your car. Then, after you’ve made the masks you can just drop them off to any Jo-Ann store, and they will have them delivered for you. Or you can contact Jeff Levine for pick-up of completed masks. If you have any questions, check out the Jo-Ann Fabrics Website or contact Louise Denos.

Are you a Contractor that uses N95 masks? Area hospitals will use these also. If you have some you can donate, please drop them off in the bins at the main building in Lincoln Park, or contact for more information.

Food Pantry
We will continue to provide to individuals and families in need.
If you or someone you know needs access to the food pantry or would like to make a donation please email or call the office to set up an appointment as the campus is currently closed. Items needed: canned fruit, cereal, pasta sauce, toilet paper, tuna, soup. Please no expired food.
NOTE: Food will not be accepted if it is dropped off without an appointment.

Star of Hope & Salvation Army of Montclair
The Chapel is Partnering with Star of Hope and the Salvation Army of Montclair to deliver critical meals to those who are vulnerable. We are collecting donations of Pop Top Canned Meats (tuna/chicken breast/spam) & Ready to Eat Meals (spaghetti with meatballs, ravioli, beef stew). Collection bins will be in front of the Main Building at the Lincoln Park Campus between 10:00am and 2:00pm Monday through Friday.

If you’re not able to get out shopping, you can still help by visiting our “virtual shopping list” at Amazon. You can buy what we need thru your Amazon account, and it ships directly to The Chapel. Check out the list here: Chapel Care Shopping List

Prayer Team
7:00pm Thursdays beginning March 26
Live Online Experience
We have a prayer team that meets every week to pray for your circumstances, petition or praise. Please submit your request or contact Ken Baker if you would like to join the team online.

During this time of isolation we hope you have found ways to spend more time with God, in His Word and in prayer. We want to remind you about our Chapel Lil’ Hearts! In February you may have taken home a paper heart with the name of one of our Chapel Kids on it. The goal was to pray for that child through Easter. Please put that heart in a prominent place where you can be reminded to pray for that child especially during this difficult time. Pray for their health, for their family and for many of them as they now learn virtually. Thank you.
