Guest Registration Opens December 7
On February 12, 2021, The Chapel will again host the memorable, annual event called "Night to Shine." Sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, this is a complimentary prom-like experience centered on God's love for people with special needs. This year, Night to Shine will be virtual in all of its locations. While it will look different in light of the global pandemic, we can’t wait to make wonderful memories as we invite you to gather with us virtually! Hundreds of churches from around the world will also join online to celebrate tens of thousands of honored guests with special needs, aged 14 and older, with the support of many thousands of volunteers.
Every guest of Night to Shine will have a special gift delivered by The Chapel (contact-free) to their home or desired location containing a corsage or boutonniere, crown or tiara, party favors and more. During the virtual event, guests will be able to participate in an evening of wonderful music, special guest visits, crowning of kings and queens of the prom, and, of course, lots of dancing, within the safety of their own homes. In the words of the Tim Tebow Foundation who is putting together this event: “Let’s just say that there are quite a few fun surprises up our sleeve, but we can’t share everything just yet!”
For extra, interactive fun
Some love to dress up; others, not so much! Ladies and gentlemen are welcome to be as dressy or as comfortable as they like. We would love for families to take photos while guests are watching and dancing during the event, and post these to a Chapel Facebook page. Chapel volunteers will do the same so that all can share the experience with one another and with the Tim Tebow Foundation!
The individuals our guests may encounter during deliveries have undergone a national criminal background check, and Chapel Volunteers have also been thoroughly vetted with an extensive application process. Many serve as regular participants in our special needs inclusion ministry. Most importantly, these are caring individuals, some with family members of their own who have special needs, who are thrilled to provide this evening to our guests – and to extend to you the love and care God has for each individual.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
At The Chapel, we believe every person is uniquely designed by God as part of his divine plan – and in fact, is an indispensable part.
