Serve at The Chapel

Where do you start?

Whether you enjoy being up front or behind the scenes, The Chapel has a place where you can serve.

Begin by asking yourself, "What am I passionate about?" What issue or people group really catches your interest? What problem or issue would you like to solve? Next, consider how God has uniquely wired you. Consider your personality, skills, abilities, and life experiences. How could these help you make a meaningful contribution in the lives of others?

Prayer Team

Pray with those who come forward for prayer after each Sunday service. Serve one Sunday each month.

Visitation Ministry

Provides prayer and encouragement to those who are homebound, in the hospital, or in assisted-living facilities. Serve as needed.

Addiction Care

Is prayerfully seeking out volunteers that could potentially be part of its leadership. Experience (direct or indirect) and compassion are critical to leading/facilitating in this ministry area.

God Sees You

Our vision is to live out Isaiah 1:17 to be actively mission-minded, personal, and relational in serving the Chapel family and our community. Our mission is to connect small groups & individuals with specific opportunities to serve those in need. We often serve widows/widowers, fatherless/motherless, and those encountering difficult shorter-term circumstances. For more information or to be part of a team contact Kathy.

Rides Ministry and Meals Ministry

Do you have a heart for helping others? The “God sees you” team connects people to specific serving opportunities. Our Rides Ministry helps provide transportation to/from church on Sundays (something we can easily take for granted), and our Meals Ministry helps provide meals for those in need. This can be as simple as serving ONE time (or as often as you like!). For more information on how to get involved, e-mail Jackie.

If you or someone you know needs access to the food pantry please email care@thechapel.org or call the office to set up an appointment.

If you are interested in volunteering in with Chapel Kids during any of our three services you must fill out an application, complete training, and submit to routine background checks.

The Rides Ministry provide rides to/from church, small groups, and events to those who are unable to drive. It’s as easy as offering a ride one-way.

You can choose to serve as often as you’d like. Not only will you experience the joy of serving others, but you’ll meet new people and develop new relationships.
